Bio

Clients completing commercial real estate transactions look to Parker Reid for clear and pragmatic advice that helps them anticipate problems, work through complex issues, and get deals done. With a perspective informed by his in-house experience at a large national title insurance company, Parker helps businesses negotiate purchase and sale agreements, launch development projects, and structure leases that advance their interests and minimize risk.

Parker has experience handling a range of real estate and corporate transactions nationally. In addition to drafting and negotiating documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, land development agreements, and construction documents, he helps his clients review title commitments and surveys, along with all underlying title instruments, and works directly with the title companies and underwriters to resolve any title issues that are discovered or arise during transactions. He has deep experience working on due diligence documents for institutional and middle-market property acquisitions. Parker focuses his practice on commercial developments, including build-to-rent properties and multi-family apartment complexes. He also has experience in multiple areas of real estate finance, including mortgage-backed securities transactions and refinancing work.

A team player who takes pride in eschewing legal jargon for plain language and straight talk, Parker prioritizes communication and responsiveness in his client relationships. He is also noted for his discretion, having worked at a senior level in the federal government and earned Secret security clearance in that role.
