Bio
With a perspective shaped by his work in-house at a major venture capital firm, Khirey Floyd handles a range of business transactions including equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate deals.
Khirey has experience in drafting complex equity investment documents ranging from series A sheets to convertible notes, as well as operating agreements, contracts, and due diligence memos. Clients in fast-changing and competitive businesses such the technology sector and the food and beverage industry look to Khirey for thoughtful analysis of the potential risks and benefits of their deals and insightful, well-organized communication about their options.
As an undergraduate, Khirey helped found the Atypical Sports & Learning Foundation, a Chicago non-profit serving youth in under-resourced communities with sports camps, mentorship opportunities, and preparation for college. He continues to serve as the organization’s CEO.
