RSHC Promotes Christopher Hickey to Partner
Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila is thrilled to announce that Christopher Hickey has been promoted to partner. Based in the firm’s Los Angeles/Irvine office but practicing internationally, Chris focuses his work on complex product liability and commercial litigation matters with a particular concentration on serving aviation-industry clients.
Chris represents aerospace manufacturers in a range of issues from accident-related product liability litigation to commercial and government contracting disputes. An accomplished trial and appellate lawyer with years of military service, and an experienced private pilot, Chris is the first RSHC partner who is also a military reservist. He serves as a lieutenant colonel in the California Air National Guard and has served as a legal advisor to U.S. Air Force aircraft accident investigations involving F-16 fighters and unmanned aircraft operations. He speaks and writes extensively on emerging issues in international and aviation law and has deep knowledge of and is recognized in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) regulation.
