Olivia Luk Bedi Joins RSHC’s Intellectual Property Team
RSHC is pleased to welcome Olivia Luk Bedi as a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. Olivia focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and advises clients on business and legal issues related to their trade secrets, patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Olivia is the second partner to join the IP practice team this year.
An experienced litigator and former patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Olivia combines a deep procedural and technical understanding of IP portfolio management with the courtroom and boardroom skills to help clients successfully enforce and defend their key innovations and assets in service of growing their businesses. She has tried significant cases before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and other federal courts across the country, and she has also briefed and argued patent appeals before the Federal Circuit. Olivia holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.S. in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
RSHC’s IP practice team, led by partner Keyonn Pope, is noted both for the excellent results it achieves for clients as well as the diversity of its attorneys’ backgrounds and perspectives. In an area of law that has historically lagged behind other practices in inclusivity and representation, the RSHC IP practice team draws from its authentic diversity to assemble bespoke teams for each engagement, incorporating multiple perspectives to craft legal strategies and deliver business insights that create success in both the courtroom and boardroom.
